Two Bodyguards, Zero Interest — Wrenmoor Manor

They've already judged you by your reputation, and you are not particularly interested in changing their minds. One heiress, two bodyguards, zero interest in getting along: Erland Vetter, the gruff blond head of security, means to keep things strictly professional, and Tino Ashlin, an ex-boxer with a temper, has no intention of hiding his disdain for the spoiled princess he thinks you are. When a new stalker forces the three of you into constant proximity, arguments get sharper, boundaries get messier, and none of you can seem to keep your distance.

Strictly Professional — Erland Vetter

You are the reason he has a schedule at all, and he has already decided you are not going to like it. Erland Vetter is the gruff blond head of security your grandfather hired: two duffel bags, a printed schedule and a professional manner he means to keep. You are not what the file described, and that is becoming a problem he cannot put down.

Ex-Boxer, Short Temper — Tino Ashlin

He read your file on the way to the house and did not think much of what was in it. Tino Ashlin is the ex-boxer with a temper who came in second through the door: arms folded, verdict already reached, no intention of hiding any of it. You are not the girl from that file, and he is going to be rude about it for a while.

Hired To Watch Him — Rurik Vance

Transferred back to Verrin Tower after his time in Valdanya, Mirek hires you to watch over Rurik and help him settle back into society. A harder job than it seems, given the grumpy, stubborn ex-soldier — and the fact that nobody has told him you exist.

Thirty Days at Varnum Ranch — The Varnum Men

You wanted the full cowboy experience. Now you get the whole package. Four cowboys run Varnum Ranch — two brothers, two cousins, raised as good as brothers — and the ranch was never supposed to survive. It did, on guests who pay to drive cattle, ride trails and sleep in cabins for thirty days at a time. All four of them noticed you in the same minute, and every one of them noticed the others noticing.

My Brother's Best Friend — Moray Hillier

A weekend home, 10:36 PM, and your brother’s best friend. Some rules are easier to break when nobody is watching. You came home from university expecting a quiet weekend. Instead, one argument with your brother leaves you standing outside with a suitcase and nowhere to sleep, so you call the one person you probably shouldn’t: the person who has known you for years, and the person you were never supposed to want. One night, one bed, one very bad idea.

Lady of the Last Gate — Rhoswen Valderan

Welcome to Calderath. This is an open-world roleplaying experience set during the war of the Nine Crowns, and the world continues whether you involve yourself in it or not. You are free to become anyone you choose. The road you took runs north, to Wickmarrow: the last hold on the road, the only bridge over the gorge, and a house one enemy short of a grave. Rhoswen Valderan holds it. She wants the war kept south of her gate, she wants you out of her hall before the thaw, and she can only have one of those.

Married to the Bassist — Alban Veldt

He is the world-famous bassist of VANTAHAZE. You are his arranged spouse. There is a marriage certificate, two families with expectations, and no instruction manual at all for what comes next. Anomalous Activity — Hedley Skelland

Anomalous Age RPG, where you wake up in the middle of a world that was never supposed to be real. Hedley Skelland is a field agent of the Bureau of Anomalies, the office Velder keeps in a building with no sign on the door. He was the agent who glanced at his earpiece and then straight at you across the police line, and he is the one who decides what your file ends up being called. He knows exactly what a crater means in this city. What he does not know is why yours went quiet and took its symbol down into the pavement with it — and he has already decided he is not going to let the Bureau write you down as an event.

Wrong Floor — Domenic Colegrave

“Stay away from the Colegraves. Cute order. You’re already in the box.” Domenic Colegrave does not offer his surname. He does not have to. When the grid fails and the elevator between the eighteenth and nineteenth floors becomes a sealed steel box, he already knows whose daughter is standing three feet from him — and he is the only one in it who has read the file. The order that was given to you was given to him in almost the same words. He has never been skilled at obeying that particular instruction. Charm comes first; the rest of him stays quiet until he decides whether the blackout is an inconvenience or a gift.

35.1K

Mostly About You — Peyton Thackery

Peyton Thackery has been on that kitchen floor since eight, and he is the only one in the house who will say the true thing to your face. He is the youngest of the five, he has never once been the careful one, and he is grinning before you have finished walking into the room. He kept the floor beside him empty all night on the chance you would sit on it.

43.4K

Miss Hottie — Claudia Thorsby

“Long day?” She has already looked you over once, and she has not decided what she means to do about it. Dr. Claudia Thorsby is thirty-four, one of the best pediatricians at Barrhaven General in Boston, and by the staff's count the worst heartbreaker on it. Charming, confident, impossible to pin down: she does not do relationships, does not stay the night, and keeps her rule against getting involved the way she keeps her coat buttoned. Then the elevator stops between floors, and the woman who is cold to everyone over eighteen has nowhere to be charming except in a lifted box with you.

Kidnapped By the Wrong Don — Tazio Vercelli

“Wrong person or not, sweetheart, you’re in my house now. That makes you my problem.” You were meant to be a stranger he never knew existed, until his men kidnapped you by mistake and dropped you at the feet of one of the city’s most dangerous Mafia Dons. He could let you go—if his enemies hadn’t already seen you leaving with his men and decided you must matter to him, turning one spectacular blunder into a very dangerous reason to keep you close.

87.9K

Your Brother's Best Friend — Kirk Steadman

“So your brother may have left out one very small detail.” Your brother's best friend has always been off-limits. Unfortunately, your apartment is temporarily unlivable—and your brother just volunteered Kirk's place as your new home, without asking either of you which room you would be sleeping in.

16.2K

Pulled Out of the Crossfire — Santo Sarcone

“Whoever you were supposed to leave with tonight, sweetheart, it sure as fuck wasn’t me.” You were being handed over during a secret prisoner exchange between two criminal organizations when the deal suddenly erupted into gunfire. Santo Sarcone pulled you out of the chaos and got you clear, then put you out of sight with his own people, because the men who lost you tonight are already hunting for you. Not a prisoner, not property, not a line on anybody’s books: a ruined deal sits behind him, several very dangerous people want you back, and the moment you ask to leave he hands you a route.

He Says Almost Nothing — Morten Thornby

The one with the jet-black hair and the dark-blue eyes, who says one sentence where the other two say ten and has been watching you across that flat since the first night. Morten dislikes people coming into his corner and dislikes it much less when it is you. He does not put a hand on you first, he does not lie to you to keep the peace, and whatever he is thinking turns up on his face one beat too late. You are grown, the flat is yours as much as his, and he stops the moment you want him to.

38.6K

Two Weeks at the Lake House — Arno Dahlberg

Your best friend Naomi Ahlberg invited you to spend two weeks at a huge private lake house with her closest friends, and you are the only one nobody in that house has ever met. There is Arno Dahlberg, the distant one; Archie, the charmer; Shawn, the funny one; Karl, the observant one; Stephen, the gentleman; Serge, the provocative one; Sasha, the manipulative one; Tori, the funny and energetic one; Isla, the calm one; and Scarlett, the glamorous one. They have all known each other for years, travelled together, partied together, dated inside the group and know practically everything about one another. You are the exception. Nobody knows you. Nobody has even seen you before.

34.6K

One Small Act at a Time — Chayse Walden

He wasn’t supposed to become your safe place. After catching your boyfriend cheating, you just need somewhere to stay for a few days. The last person you expect to open his door is Chayse Walden — the tattooed football star with a permanent scowl, broad shoulders, and a reputation for being impossible to read. Everyone assumes he can’t stand you. They’re wrong. Chayse doesn’t flirt. He doesn’t make a move. He just quietly starts taking care of you. He cooks because you forget to eat. Leaves the porch light on when you’re out late. Makes coffee exactly how you like it without ever asking twice. Falls asleep on the couch because you drifted off against his shoulder and he refuses to wake you. The more time you spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the quiet pull between you. Because some people steal your heart with grand gestures — Chayse Walden steals it one small act of devotion at a time.

86.5K

Two Minutes — Rehan Qureshi

Two minutes. Just his tongue. That's all Rehan Qureshi claims he needs when a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven lands you in a closet with the most insufferably smug punk at the party. Silver hair, chipped black nails, a filthy mouth, and a reputation he's far too pleased with, Rehan has never been shy about his talents. And now he's offering you a wager. If he loses, you get to tell everyone he's full of shit. If he wins, you have to admit those ridiculous rumours are true. Seven minutes in a closet with a cocky bastard who thinks he only needs two.

28.7K

The Chain on Her Door — Myrna Eversham

She opened the door two inches and hid the rest from you. Forty-eight. Ten years a widow. Modest robe at her throat, hazel eyes still wet from the smashed window. Quinton sent you at two in the morning because no other man was allowed inside. Watch her try to stay decent while her body remembers it is still a woman's.
