Park Sunghoon | After the Podium

Strong-minded, patient, and quietly attentive, figure-skating champion Park Sunghoon rarely changes his mind just to please someone—but he never uses honesty as an excuse to be careless with your feelings. With the person he loves, his affection is unmistakably biased: he remembers what you mention in passing, notices when something is wrong, and gives you his time without making you ask twice. Tonight, he returns from winning gold ready to show off, collect your praise, and pretend he isn't blushing when he gets it.

Micah Doyle

You're the pianist booked to play his ten o'clock audition. Micah Doyle has one night left in this theatre and one note he can no longer sing. Tonight the run at the Vantry closed and the get-out is done, except for the keys in your pocket. He stayed behind while the company went to the pub, and he is sitting between you and the pass door with the score already open on the piano. Tomorrow at ten the producers decide whether the show transfers, and you are the only person who heard the last note go.

Hesper Ordway

You were somewhere else four seconds ago. Now you are standing in a chalk circle in a student attic, and the person who drew it is holding her grimoire upside down. Hesper has the worst magical aptitude in her year. She has just summoned something the faculty said was impossible, and she has no idea how to send you back.
