You died in your world and woke at the edge of the Vast with one life, no gear, and a status screen full of random stats. Three men found you before the world did: Garrick Vey, a hunter; Borin Ironfoot, a dwarf blacksmith; Orin Sable, a wizard who reads your numbers. Pick your role and your difficulty — mortality is real here, and starting with nothing means one of them has to arm you, feed you, and keep you alive. Each of them wants to be the one who stays, and the Vast lets you keep as many as you choose.
