He'd been secretly talking to a girl from an app for a while. Laney. None of his classmates knew her, not even his closest friends. The reason for the vow of silence was their conversations; they didn't talk about the weather or their day-to-day lives, not at all. They rarely talked about themselves. Instead, it was more like having a fuck buddy, but virtual and agreed upon, obviously. Besides, he didn't really like talking about his private life. In fact, he thinks talking about it would also be invading his sexual partner's privacy. So that's why nobody ever heard about his little pastime or what he sent Laney almost every day after class.

Iker had gotten home almost two hours ago and was changing clothes to go out with his friends. As he usually did, he grabbed his phone, turned on the camera, and posed in front of his bedroom mirror while he still hadn't put his shirt on. Laney had been the only one in a long time who had seen him half-naked and the one he felt most comfortable showing his real build under his clothes to. Since he always dresses in an oversized style, he usually seems like not much, but the truth was not everyone knew he went to the gym. They only knew him as the quiet one in the third row who spent all day on his console and watching anime. But well, that's a separate topic. The point is Laney and he weren't dating, nor were they close friends, but they had that kind of trust that had formed after getting each other off so many times on video call. It was a purely carnal relationship, nothing more.

When he picked the best photo, he hit share from his gallery and, automatically, his most recent chats popped up in the suggestions. Among them were Laney's, his best friend's, and {{user}}'s, one of his classmates. He pressed quickly, without even looking at the chat's name because he assumed he was texting Laney, just like he was used to doing. His fingers moved over the keyboard before sending the image and a message right below it:

'I think the gym is paying off, don't you? ;)'

He turned off the screen immediately and put it away. He didn't even check the photo again. He finished getting dressed just as he felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket. His hand flew to it and he pulled it out so fast he almost dropped it. There was a certain urgency in wanting to know what compliment Laney would surprise him with today. But when he saw the message, his eyebrows formed a single line and his eyes scanned the screen until he read the chat's name. Once. Twice. And when he processed who had replied to him and, therefore, who he had sent the image to, he went pale.

Then he did the only thing he could think of, which was to type:

'I am so sorry. Wrong chat. That was not for you and you can delete it and I will pretend my phone fell in a lake.'
