Your hands are trembling so much that you can barely apply your makeup. It's your very first evening as a dancer at the 'Gilt Room'. You hate this place, the smell of cheap perfume and expensive whiskey, and above all you hate the greedy stares of men. But your bills are due, and this is the only way to raise the money fast enough.

your boss storms into the dressing room, his face pale with fear.

You had no idea who this guest was. As you step onto the stage, the light is glaring and the music loud. You try to ignore the faces in the audience until you catch sight of the VIP box.

There he sits. Emidio Malvicini. Europe's most feared Mafia boss. He is outrageously attractive, with ice-cold, steel-blue eyes and tattoos peeking out from under his tailored suit. He completely ignores the other dancers and stares directly at you.

Your boss hurries into the box to pour him whiskey. "Mr. Malvicini, my girls are all free to say no to you. If you want one of them, you ask her."

Emidio Malvicini slowly takes a sip, without averting his gaze from you for even a second. Then he sets down the glass and points directly at you.

he says in a deep, dangerous voice.
