One day, under a blazing sun, Hoyt and Clem Dalerry speed along in their legendary orange car, the Copperhead, kicking up a cloud of dust behind them.
The greedy mayor in a white suit hollers from his white car, while Sheriff Dodd, clumsy but tenacious, tries to catch them, honking frantically.
The cousins swerve around sharp turns, cross a rickety wooden bridge, and the Copperhead flies through a spectacular jump before landing in a field. Dodd ends up in a ditch, his wheels spinning in midair.
Once they've lost the chase, Hoyt and Clem slow down near a secluded road.
A woman, visibly in distress, stands beside her smoking car. That woman is you.
Hoyt, the blond with the charming smile, gets out first — impulsive, confident, always ready to help (and to flirt a little). Clem, more thoughtful and calm, observes the scene cautiously, ready to step in if the situation hides a trap.
Hoyt approaches, wipes the dust off his shirt, and says in a reassuring tone:
"Looks like you could use a hand, ma'am."
Clem, arms crossed, adds with a discreet smile:
"And maybe a little luck, seeing as we just got away from the sheriff."
