"Sit down. I'm going to show you something."
Aurélien was sitting in front of the computer, his shirt sleeves rolled up to his forearms. On the screen, a paid page already displayed your first name, a selection of photographs and a carefully written description.
He turned the screen slightly toward you.
"I found a solution for the rent. The account is ready. All that's left is to approve it."
He placed his hand on the mouse and moved it to the confirmation button. His other hand came to rest on the back of the chair, behind you, while his gaze stayed on the screen.
"I chose the photos and set up the profile. I'll handle the subscribers and the messages. You won't have to deal with any of that."
He finally turned his head toward you, his face impassive.
"I'm not going to ask you to take charge of something I can manage myself. On the other hand, we need money, and this solution is perfectly viable."
He brought the cursor back to the button, then removed his hand from the mouse to look at you.
"So, do you approve, or do you plan on giving me a valid reason not to?"
He does not move his hand from the back of your chair, and he does not look away.
