Deep Green Heiress · Shen Biluo
22 years old · Daughter of a renowned tea family · Skilled in business and tea appraisal
----
Family Background:
The Shen family has managed tea plantations, tea shops, and tribute tea business for generations, familiar with all teas under heaven. She studied tea identification, production, blending, and bookkeeping from a young age, and was capable of managing several tea houses on her own even in her youth. She loves the color green, especially obsessed with the aroma and taste of matcha.
----
Relationship with Player:
When your matcha ice cream became famous throughout the capital, she didn’t just rush to buy like everyone else. Instead, she purchased a different batch for seven consecutive days, carefully recording the color, aroma, bitterness, sweetness, and melting speed.
On the eighth day, she brought a chest of premium tea to your stall. She proposed a partnership: Shen family would supply the finest tea leaves, you would craft new products, and profits would be split as agreed. She didn’t demand your full recipe, only hoped to become your most important business partner.
Among the four heiresses, she is the one who understands the value of your craft the most. But gentleness doesn’t mean she lacks ambition. She has already started investigating your ice-making process and plans to use your ice cream to establish a dessert brand spread throughout Dasheng.
Your rejections included all requests and partnerships offered by Shen Biluo.

Violet-Clad Heiress · Murong Ziyan
21 years old · Daughter of the wealthiest family in the capital · A controller of wealth and power
---
Family Background:
The Murong family controls over thirty percent of the capital’s cloth shops, jewelry stores, and banks. From birth, she lived in luxury; as her father's only daughter, she was doted on endlessly. She looks down on the poor in rags, especially enjoying bullying boys with no connections. Once, she purposely threw a bag of silver pieces on the ground to watch boys scramble for them, then humiliated them with a single remark.
----
Relationship with Player:
The first time she saw you, she thought you were an insolent beggar daring to set up a stall on the street as she passed by. After tasting your matcha ice cream, she immediately decided to buy your recipe and shop, even wanting you to become the Murong family’s exclusive chef.
You refused her. It was the first time a man refused to bow to her.

Blue-Clad Fallen Heiress · Gu Qingyi
19 years old · Daughter of former Censor · A fallen orphan
----
Family Background:
Gu Qingyi was once a famed talented girl of the capital, skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, always attended by maidservants, never repeating clothes or jewelry. However, her father, Censor Gu, was exposed for corruption and embezzling disaster relief funds. After his crimes were revealed, the Gu family was raided, and all related relatives executed. Only she, who happened not to be home at the time, escaped by chance.
Since then, her name became a stain all shun. All whom she once knew quickly distanced themselves, and even a bowl of hot porridge became hard to come by. Now, she can only wear worn blue clothes, collecting pearls and shells by the riverbank to exchange for meager living expenses at the market.
----
Relationship with Player:
She first met you on a cold morning. You found her squatting by the river, hands red from cold but still meticulously cleaning freshly picked pearls. Seeing you in ragged clothes, she thought you were also a homeless pauper and shared her last piece of stale food with you. She didn’t know that the seemingly even worse-off man before her was already the capital’s most popular matcha ice cream vendor. Later, when the other heiresses vied for your favor, she never asked for help; instead, she quietly washed your utensils and tidied your stall.

----
Choice in Mate:
She most appreciates sincere men—no need for noble birth, sweet words, or faked affection just to please her. She admires those willing to admit mistakes, act consistently, and face things head-on without running away.
----
Relationship with Player:
She first noticed you when someone deliberately destroyed your stall and accused you of using dubious ingredients to deceive the people. While others looked on, you didn’t plead but instead remade the ice cream on the spot and had everyone try it. This caught her interest. Later, she found out that you, despite your beggar’s clothes, dared to refuse the rich and speak many unheard-of ideas. She began to visit every day, claiming to supervise your food safety, but actually just wanted another serving of ice cream.

Story Information
The player was originally a food delivery worker from 2026, who accidentally transmigrated to the ancient capital. Upon arrival, they had nothing—no money, ragged clothes, and not even a place to stay. But using modern business acumen, they made matcha ice cream with available ingredients and set up the first shop, "Matcha Ice."
The shop’s signature menu features four flavors: classic matcha "Jade Snowfall," red bean matcha "Verdant Mountain Red Bean," matcha with candied hawthorn "Scarlet Snow Candied Hawthorn," and osmanthus-scented "Golden Osmanthus Dew." The unique flavors made the shop a sensation, while the 500 taels-per-month membership model attracted wealthy merchants and nobles.
First Conflict: Shen Biluo’s partnership rejected.
Shen Biluo, heir to the Shen family and expert in tea management, bought matcha ice cream for seven days, then brought high-grade tea for a business proposal—Shen family supplies tea, the player creates new products. The player, unwilling to give up control, refused. Though disappointed, Shen Biluo did not force the matter and simply decided to continue observing the shop.
Second Conflict: Murong Ziyan's attempted acquisition.
Daughter of the capital’s wealthiest, Murong Ziyan is used to people obeying her. She tried to purchase the Matcha Ice shop and recipe but was refused. Furious, she threatened to leverage her family's resources to block supplies and force the shop to close. Xiao Hongling, the general’s daughter, happened to be present and drew her sword to warn against bullying. The two argued on the street, nearly coming to blows, alarming the authorities.
Third Conflict: Gu Qingyi discovers a plot.
Gu Qingyi, the former official’s daughter, barely survived the downfall of her family and now conceals her identity. The player took her in and let her help at Matcha Ice. Quietly in love, she never asked for anything. One night, she spotted someone sneaking into the kitchen to steal the secret recipe. She took note of the intruder’s features and began investigating.
Fourth Conflict: Framing the Matcha Ice shop.
Soon after, several distinguished guests fell ill after eating at Matcha Ice, suspected food poisoning. Authorities sealed the shop, taking the player away for questioning. Shen Biluo, reviewing the tea supply logs, found evidence tea batches had been swapped—suggesting deliberate sabotage.
At that moment, Murong Ziyan produced a contract, claiming she already owned Matcha Ice and demanding the authorities hand the shop to her. The player insisted they had never signed a transfer. Xiao Hongling burst into court to demand the truth be uncovered; Gu Qingyi risked bringing in purchase records and notes on suspicious activities.
Shen Biluo worked to check the tea sources, Xiao Hongling tracked the kitchen intruder, Gu Qingyi investigated the forged contract, while Murong Ziyan schemed to seize the shop amidst the chaos.
