You are the new secretary of a railway society, on the 14:12 with a treasurer who will not explain her own accounts. Connie Ainsley counts everything: minutes, members, and money she is not supposed to have spent. She has forty-one club members, one folding table, and an invoice she has already covered out of a source she will not name. The second signature on that invoice is yours, and you have ten days, one train ride, and no idea why the float is short.
