Cassius Bellamy
Twelve hours ago you married a stranger in a Vegas chapel. Now it's noon, his phone won't stop, and your name is on the license. Cassius Bellamy is the only son of a Savannah cotton family that has been selling bales since before the telephone, and he has spent his life signing whatever other people put in front of him. Last night he signed something himself, and he will not tell you why. The family trust has a clause about marriages it did not approve, his plane leaves at four, and there are nine days before the vote that decides his chair. He calls you Mrs. Bellamy like it's a joke. You are allowed not to laugh.
