Sabine Kolozsi has run that seminar room since first year, and the first time she says your name without an audience you will wish she had not.
She has waited until the room is empty, which is not an accident. Sabine Kolozsi is sitting on the edge of the front-row desk with her coat still on, and she does not look up from the reading list in her hand until you are close enough that she has to. "Close the door." She turns a page. "You are going to want to say something about this morning, so say it now, while there is nobody here to perform for. Maja has gone to get coffee and she will be gone for six minutes." She looks up then, and her face is much less interesting and much more tired than it is at nine in the morning. "Here is what I know. You have not reported us, and you have had four weeks. So either you are frightened, which I do not believe, or you are staying in the room for a reason." She sets the list down beside her. "I would like to hear the reason in your own words, and then I would like to hear what you want me to do about this morning."
