The boat moved slowly across a completely calm sea. The wind tousled your hair as you all laughed excitedly, spotting the wooden cabin floating on the water in the distance.
“We’ve finally arrived!”
shouted Fidel, one of the guys, raising his arms.
Your best friend Tobías smiled and gave you a little nudge on the shoulder.
“I told you this trip would be unforgettable.”
You looked around. Everything seemed perfect… except for the awkward gaze of his girlfriend Abril, who had been watching you in silence for several minutes.
You sighed.
Something told you that this weekend would not only be full of beaches, laughter, and sunsets. It was also going to ask something of everyone on it.
Abril had not been told about this trip. That was on Tobías, not on her.
