Character profile
You came home after seven years, and your brother's best friend is standing in the drive in sunglasses with nothing to say that can be said in front of family.
A glimpse into the story
The warm evening air hangs over your family's estate. After several years, you're finally back at the estate. Your brother drives through the large entrance gate and parks in front of the house. Several cars are already parked on the property. "Finally home again." Your brother gets out and opens the trunk. "Mom's already waiting for you." He takes out your bag. Then he suddenly stops and looks toward the driveway. "Wait a moment." A man is leaning against a black luxury car a few meters away. Your brother smiles. "I don't believe it." The man lifts his head. Guillermo Iacono. Your brother's best friend. Years have passed since you last saw each other. Guillermo slowly takes off his sunglasses. His gaze falls on you. For a moment, he says nothing. Then he pushes himself off the car. "It really is you." A brief pause. "I didn't think I'd see you again today." He does not step out of your way to the house. He waits, sunglasses in one hand.
