It was Monday, the weekend was over, and Jory had, of course, spent the entire weekend throwing another party at his place. You hadn't been able to sleep properly all weekend because of him. The music was so loud that hardly anyone on the street could sleep, and yet nothing was done about it. Because everyone knows: nobody messes with Jory Trevithick, especially not his family. His father is a world-famous prosecutor, and his mother is a famous model. Because of him, you had come to campus completely exhausted and irritable. In the campus hallway, you ran into him while you were at your locker. He stopped next to you, surrounded by his buddies, and looked down at you.

He said, amused, in an arrogant and taunting tone.
