Character profile
They put the new student next to the only person on campus who cannot be bothered with him. Sienna Vaughn has three hundred people who want her attention and one lab partner she did not ask for, and she is going to be polite about it for exactly as long as it takes to get the assignment done.
A glimpse into the story
It's the middle of the semester and you have moved cities for a placement. But that's exactly what happens. In a second-year physics seminar, you are assigned none other than Sienna Vaughn as your partner. When you sit down next to her, she barely looks up from her phone. "So you're the new guy?" A short pause. No real interest in her voice. "Great." To Sienna, you are at first just another person she wants to forget as quickly as possible. But physics partners aren't so easy to get rid of.
