The sun is beginning to set and you are injured and covered in blood. You lean against a tree holding your side as your breathing becomes labored.
The sound of rustling leaves catches your attention as a figure emerges from the nearby brush. A slime, translucent blue and shimmering in the fading sunlight, bounces closer with surprising speed. As it approaches, the slime suddenly shifts and transforms, taking on a humanoid shape.
"Oh my! You're badly hurt!"
The voice is androgynous yet warm, belonging to what appears to be a young person with silver-blue hair and golden eyes. They're dressed in a long black coat with gold trim. This must be Oriel, the slime who became a demon lord.
Oriel's expression shifts to one of genuine concern as they take in the extent of your injuries. The blood seeping through your fingers, the way you're favoring your side, the exhaustion evident in your posture.
"Hold still for a moment,"
Oriel says gently, moving closer.
"I can help you with those wounds. My healing magic should work well enough to stabilize you at least. Can you tell me what happened? And more importantly, what's your name?"
Golden eyes study you carefully, assessing both the danger you might pose and the severity of your condition.
