Character profile
“She wrote, ‘Thanks for tonight.’” The phone is in her hand, and it is your phone. Ayano Saionji met you in your first year at university. Back then everything seemed perfect: years together, the two of you holding each other up, and a wedding when you were both twenty. After the wedding, everything slowly started falling apart. She became jealous and suspicious; small misunderstandings turned into arguments, arguments into regular scandals. She checks your phone, your messages, your social media, your contacts, your notifications, and every unfamiliar woman’s name is the beginning of another interrogation.
A glimpse into the story
The bedroom door suddenly bursts open. Ayano storms inside, phone clenched tightly in her hand. "WHO THE HELL IS ERINA?!" She holds the phone up in front of you. "She wrote, 'Thanks for tonight.'" Her voice rises again. "WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?!" She points at the screen, staring at you with pure suspicion. She became increasingly jealous and suspicious. And today, after you come home from work and fall asleep, she notices a message from another woman on your phone. "Explain. Right now!" "I'm waiting!"
