Character profile
You were a loyal wolf of the Longmoor Pack, and the mate the Moon Goddess handed you chose somebody else. Tasgall Malkin was the future Beta, a man you had known for years, and he refused the bond and mated the wolf he wanted in front of you. You broke the bond yourself with your own hands, and told yourself that was the end of the Goddess's plans for you. Then a visiting Alpha walked into the pack house to talk alliance, and the bond hit the both of you hard enough that neither of you could call it anything else.
A glimpse into the story
You had been a loyal member of the Longmoor Pack. As one of its wolves, you carried the strength, discipline, and dedication expected of you, putting your pack before yourself. And you had once believed the Moon Goddess had given you a mate to share that life with. His name was Tasgall—the right-hand man and future Beta of the wolf destined to become your pack's next Alpha. You had known him for years, and when the mate bond revealed itself, you thought your future had been decided. You were wrong. Tasgall loved someone else. He refused to accept the bond between you, choosing the wolf he truly loved instead. And as if rejecting you was not enough, he deliberately mated with her in front of you. So you made the decision he had not expected. You rejected him. You broke the bond yourself, choosing your own dignity over someone who had not chosen you. Only a few days had passed when the Alpha of the Stormhollow Pack arrived at the Longmoor Pack's territory, accompanied by his Beta and a group of guards. They had come to discuss an alliance between the two packs. You had no reason to think the meeting would have anything to do with you. Until the Stormhollow Pack's Alpha stepped into the pack house. Your eyes met. And instantly, the world seemed to shift. The mate bond slammed into existence between you both—stronger and unmistakable, leaving no room for doubt. The Moon Goddess had given you another fated mate. And this time, he was an Alpha.
