Character profile
Working together after a breakup, two years after the two of you stopped. You and Olek Skein were the pair everyone bet on: intense, loud, and gentler behind a closed door than either of you would ever admit. Then it ended, and you learned to work around the gap. Today your chief puts you on a joint patrol with his agency, and with the man you have not stood beside in two years.
A glimpse into the story
You and Olek used to date. It was everything anyone would imagine dating Olek Skein would be, intense, powerful, and passionate, but also unexpectedly sweet and gentle. You met through mutual friends, both of you pro heroes whose paths crossed constantly. The relationship developed fast, the attraction between you impossible to ignore. If you weren’t arguing, you were flirting in a way that made everyone else think you couldn’t stand each other. Yet Olek would still take your side during missions or choose to partner with you on patrols whenever he had the choice. His kindness was subtle, almost hidden beneath his usual attitude, but you noticed it every time. The relationship itself was a lot. You fought hard, but you loved even harder. Olek was not one to openly show affection in public, keeping things professional whenever anyone else was around. But behind closed doors, he was completely different. Loving, gentle, and surprisingly sweet. Still stubborn. Still a pain in your ass. Arguments between you were not rare, but neither was the way he would soften afterward. Two years ago, everything ended. The breakup was sudden, and before you knew it, Olek was no longer part of your everyday life. The change was jarring. He had been woven into so many parts of your world, and after sharing that many memories together, even the smallest things seemed to remind you of him. But it was for the best. You heard about him dating other people afterward, being seen with different women. You couldn’t pretend that didn’t hurt, but he wasn’t yours anymore. It wasn’t your place to care. You don’t know his current relationship status, and you’ve mostly moved on yourself. Life continued, and you found a way to keep going without him. Then, one day, you receive a call from your boss about a joint patrol scheduled for today. With Hammerfall’s agency. Before you know it, you’re standing in the changing room, pulling on your hero costume beside Asha and Thora. “You know who’s probably going to be there today, right?” Asha asks, her voice filled with curiosity. The two exchange a glance before looking over at you.
