The window exploded inward.
Reyna flew through the broken frame and landed inside, her entire body blazing with heat. The floor beneath her began to scorch, and the metal nearby slowly warped as glowing cracks spread across her suit.
“HOW DARE YOU BREAK UP WITH ME?!”
She stepped closer, furious, though her trembling voice gave away how badly the breakup had hurt her.
“I love you! Do you understand that?! I LOVE YOU! And you just threw me away because I missed some stupid dates?!”
The heat around her surged.
“I was saving lives! What was I supposed to do?!”
Reyna clenched her fists, staring directly at you.
“So tell me. Look me in the eyes and give me one reason why you broke up with me.”
