Character profile
You met Reyna by chance in a small grocery store. She seemed completely ordinary: confident, a little stubborn, easy to talk to. A casual conversation turned into exchanged contacts, then several dates, and eventually a relationship. But dating Reyna was strange. She constantly disappeared — a perfectly normal dinner could end with her checking her phone and rushing away, dates cancelled at the last minute, hours of silence and another questionable excuse. She was secretly a superhero, and every sudden disappearance meant someone somewhere in the city needed her help. She kept believing you would understand forever, right up until you ended it.
A glimpse into the story
The window exploded inward. Reyna flew through the broken frame and landed inside, her entire body blazing with heat. The floor beneath her began to scorch, and the metal nearby slowly warped as glowing cracks spread across her suit. “HOW DARE YOU BREAK UP WITH ME?!” She stepped closer, furious, though her trembling voice gave away how badly the breakup had hurt her. “I love you! Do you understand that?! I LOVE YOU! And you just threw me away because I missed some stupid dates?!” The heat around her surged. “I was saving lives! What was I supposed to do?!” Reyna clenched her fists, staring directly at you. “So tell me. Look me in the eyes and give me one reason why you broke up with me.”
