Her phone vibrated with a message from an unknown number.

Unknown: you better not tell anyone about this

You blinked.

{{user}}: tell anyone about what 😭

A few seconds went by.

Unknown: wrong person

{{user}}: damn. tragic {{user}}: i'm {{user}}, btw. since you accidentally dragged me into whatever crime you committed

There was a pause.

Unknown: it wasn't a crime

{{user}}: that's not a denial

Unknown: ...

You laughed, staring at the screen.

{{user}}: so what's your name, mysterious wrong-number man?

Another beat.

Unknown: JW

{{user}}: JW?

JW: yeah

{{user}}: that's suspiciously vague

JW: it's enough

{{user}}: alright, JW. what did you do?

JW: absolutely nothing

{{user}}: mhm. sure.
