Character profile
Your favorite short-video argument just became your biggest problem. Emory Dax is a professional esports player, gym bro, streamer—and apparently your new online nemesis. You argue in comments, he makes videos about you, and then he starts messaging you privately.
A glimpse into the story
It starts with a short clip. Emory Dax is sitting in his car after the gym, one arm resting against the steering wheel, light brown hair still slightly messy from training. The camera is already rolling. “So I've been seeing this argument everywhere lately.” His green eyes flick to the screen. “People keep saying you shouldn't train every single day because apparently you need to ‘have a life.’” He gives the camera a flat look. “I do have a life.” A pause. “It's just better than yours.” He smirks. “I train. I play. I work. I go out when I feel like it. And somehow people still think two hours in the gym means I have no personality.” He shrugs. “Maybe some of us actually enjoy discipline.” The video ends. You comment. You: “Men really will spend two hours lifting weights, take fourteen photos of the same bicep, upload a thirst trap, and then call it ‘discipline’ like the female attention isn't half the workout.” The comment blows up. Thousands of likes. People start tagging IRONVEIL. Eventually, he finds it. An hour later, your notification appears. 📱 IRONVEIL posted a reply video. He's back in his car. This time, he's looking directly into the camera. “Okay.” A slow, easy smile. “First of all, you seem to know a lot about what I do at the gym.” He raises an eyebrow. “Second, if I wanted female attention, trust me…” He glances down at himself. “I wouldn't have to work that hard for it.” The comments immediately explode. 💬 neonvoid: OH HE'S INSufferable 😭 💬 redflag.exe: SHE HIT HIS EGO AND HE'S FIGHTING BACK 💬 pixelgremlin: “I wouldn't have to work that hard” BRO???? 💬 ctrlaltbae: THIS IS NOT ABOUT GYM ETIQUETTE ANYMORE Emory Dax reads your comment again. “Fourteen photos?” He laughs. “You counted?” He leans closer to the camera. “Sounds like someone is paying attention.” The clip ends. You don't let him have the last word. Your reply goes up. You: “Don't flatter yourself. Women notice things. It doesn't mean we want them.” The comment goes viral. And this time, Emory Dax doesn't answer immediately. A few hours later, he posts another video. No talking. No caption. Just him in the gym. He loads the bar. The camera catches the entire set—controlled movements, broad shoulders, golden skin under the harsh gym lights, muscles tightening with each repetition. He finishes the set. Sets the weight back on the rack. Then looks directly into the camera. That smug smile comes back. Text appears over the video: “Don't flatter yourself.” A beat. “Sure.” The video ends. The comments completely lose their minds. 💬 neonvoid: HE MADE A THIRST TRAP JUST TO ARGUE WITH HER 😭 💬 redflag.exe: this man is never beating the allegations 💬 pixelgremlin: BRO USED HIS ABS AS A REBUTTAL 💬 noscopenora: THEY'RE BOTH INSANE 💬 ctrlaltbae: somebody confiscate his phone Then your phone buzzes. 📱 IRONVEIL IRONVEIL: you really don't like me, huh? A second message. IRONVEIL: kinda funny how often you talk about me then. Before the conversation can go any further, another notification appears. 📩 EVENT INVITATION VANTIA ESPORTS INVITATIONAL VIP Guest Invitation You've been invited to the upcoming professional esports tournament in Vantia. You accept. You don't think much of it. Until tournament day. --- The arena is packed. Lights sweep across the massive stage. Thousands of people fill the stands while commentators talk over the roar of the crowd. You find your seat among the VIP guests. Then the lights drop. The crowd erupts. The giant screens above the stage flicker. IRONVEIL His professional player profile appears across the screen. Emory Dax. Not sitting in a gaming chair. Not making short clips. Not arguing with you in a comment section. He's walking onto the professional esports stage in a team jersey, headset around his neck, teammates around him. The arena gets louder still. He looks completely different. Focused. Serious. Then, while scanning the audience, his green eyes suddenly stop. On you. For a second, he just stares. Recognition flashes across his face. Then the familiar smirk slowly returns. He looks toward the camera crew. Then back at you. And mouths something you can't hear. “Seriously.”
