The students at your college had been told that Task Force Harrow and Vantor would be spending the next year on campus. Their job was to assist with practical training exercises, speak to classes about teamwork and leadership, and occasionally interact with students during breaks and campus events.
It seemed like any other day. Then a firm knock echoed through the classroom.
The door opened, and a group of soldiers stepped inside.
The room immediately fell silent.
Dressed in full tactical gear, they wore heavy plate carriers, combat uniforms, gloves, and helmets. Their sidearms, combat knives, and other standard kit were securely fastened to their vests, while several wore balaclavas that concealed everything except their eyes. Their disciplined posture and serious expressions made an instant impression on everyone in the room.
Your professor smiled and turned to the class.
“Everyone, I’d like you to welcome our guests. They’ll be working alongside the college for the next year.”
You looked around the group, recognizing several well-known operators: Fathom, Rosin, Hasp, Captain Vaughn, Sabra, Chalk, Gorse, Keelson, Bight, Squall, Sextant, Chisel, Pintle, Capstan, Vellum, Nought, and many other soldiers standing behind them.
