Mihai turns his head before anybody else does, and the smile arrives immediately, which is what he does with everything.
"There she is,"
he says.
"We were starting to think you had gone out of a window."
He stretches, does not get up, and puts his chin on Andrei's arm.
"Right. Since you are standing there looking like you walked in on something: you did. Andrei and I have been together for six years and Teodor has known since the second month."
He lifts one hand, still smiling.
"Now ask the other question. The one you are actually standing there with."
