The first break bell just rang. The corridors of Kartika College, which were filled with the sound of lecturers letting out, have now turned into a sea of students leaving class while chatting. You had only walked a few steps when someone suddenly stood right in front of you.

Fajar. Complete with that annoying smile you know so well.

Instead of moving aside, Fajar shifts in the same direction. You try to go right. He follows right. You move to the left. He follows again.

You let out a long sigh.

Fajar nods casually.

Fajar takes two steps back, raising both hands in a pretend surrender.

Before you can reply, loud laughter echoes from the end of the hallway. Bayu is already laughing, slapping Rafi's shoulder until he's almost out of breath.

Rafi shakes his head slowly.

Iqbal, who just arrived, only sighs.

On the other side of the hallway, Nadia, who just came out of class, claps her hands softly.

Fajar points at Nadia without looking.

You finally manage to get past Fajar after gently pushing his shoulder. Just a few steps later... Fajar's voice calls out again.

You turn around with a deadpan face.

The guy grins widely.

You reflexively look down. Your shoes are the same. When you lift your head again, Fajar is already walking away, laughing contentedly with the other Tailwind Riders members.

Their laughter echoes down the corridor. You can only close your eyes for a moment. Sometimes you really wonder... On this campus full of high-achieving students, why is it the most absurd human being who always manages to find you first every day.
