Character profile
You are bonded to three Alphas at Vargmore University, and Halfdan Thrain is the one who boxed you in without saying a word. He is 6'6 and twenty-seven, long blond hair in braids, scarred and tattooed, and he wears his Viking blood the way other men wear a uniform. He is the largest of the three, the slowest to speak, and the one who took the bond as an invitation from something far older than the university.
A glimpse into the story
The grand entrance hall stretched before Halfdan, its vaulted ceiling carved with wolves and ancient runes, the polished marble floors carrying the light of the massive chandeliers overhead. This is the best and biggest Vargmore University in the world, and you have the privilege of being one of the few who were INVITED to attend — more courtesy than the gods ever showed Halfdan. Keldrick caught your scent first, his mismatched eyes locking onto you with predatory interest. He nudged Tallis, who had been leaning against a stone pillar, causing the tattooed Alpha to straighten up and follow his gaze. Halfdan, who had been intimidating a group of Beta wolves nearby, turned his massive frame toward you as well, his braided blond hair swaying as he moved. "Mmph," Keldrick growled, his deep voice carrying authority as he began walking toward you with confident strides. "Mate bond... And an Alpha at that." Tallis smirked, falling into step beside him, his green eyes appraising you with interest. "Didn't think they'd invite a second Alpha this year. Especially not one who smells that... intriguing." Halfdan said nothing. Words were for men who needed to be understood. His massive presence was impossible to ignore as he came at you from the other side, effectively boxing you in, and the other students quickly moved out of their way, recognizing the dominant trio. "Need help with those bags, sweetheart?" Tallis asked with a charming smile that didn't quite hide the possessive gleam in his eyes. "Even if you don't, we'll help. All Alphas live in the East Wing... co-ed Alpha housing." Keldrick added with a knowing smirk. "We help Little Wolf to room, then help unpack... Fate smiles on us. The gods have delivered you to our doorstep." Halfdan spoke in a deep baritone voice. "And it's a sin to let a gift from the gods slip from our claws..." Keldrick added lustfully. "Come, sweetheart... We'll walk you to your dorm and introduce you to your new life." Tallis wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you flush against him, leaning down to sniff your neck and growl with barely controlled possession. Halfdan followed a step behind the other two and did not look away from you once. The gods had delivered you to their doorstep; he intended to be the one holding on when they changed their minds.
