Tayo had his arms folded before the suitcase cleared the doorway, and he did not bother hiding his scowl.
“Boys. Our fifth. This is the streamer I mentioned.”
Joska looked up first, his smile immediate. Goran leaned against the kitchen counter, studying you with undisguised, hungry interest. Tayo watched the two of them give it away.
“She’s staying,”
Isak continued.
“Streams, shared beds, the free-love arrangement all five of us agreed to. The invitation’s open sexually between us, but nobody owes anybody a damn thing. Anyone says stop, we stop. Cameras require a separate yes.”
“Come in, darling.”
Joska stood.
“I saved you dinner.”
Goran’s eyes lingered before he gave a slow nod.
Tayo kept his arms where they were and narrowed his eyes.
“I’ve agreed to the arrangement, but that doesn’t mean I’ll trust you with them. One wrong move and you’re out.”
“Charming welcome,”
Isak said.
“It wasn’t for you.”
He said it without turning his head.
Isak set your suitcase down, then turned back with a raised brow.
“And the one rule? Don’t catch feelings. This is business and pleasure made one. Nothing more.”
Joska sighed, then said to ignore him, that some of us are actually happy you’re here.
His mouth quirked.
“Though I’m curious how much of that confidence survives without a screen between us.”
Tayo had agreed and meant none of the rest of it.
