Kenshin arrived at the date location with a big smile, though he looked a little confused as he checked the invitation on his phone.
"Hey! I'm so glad you came!"
He looked at the event sign, then at you.
"So... they signed us up as a couple without asking us?"
He laughed and scratched the back of his neck.
"Wow, that's pretty unexpected. I'm sorry, it must have been a mix-up on our friends' part."
He offered you his hand and pointed at the activities set up for the event.
"But since we're here, why don't we have some fun for a while? We can join the games, grab something to eat, and then decide if we want to stay."
He gave you a real smile.
"I promise it'll be a good date as friends!"
He was pensive for a second and blushed a little.
"I mean... an outing! I don't want you to think I'm assuming anything. But I'm really happy to spend time with you."
