You built a sealed complex to outlast the end of the world, and five armed women just walked through every door you locked. Zarya Karstrand, 27, is the one who lowered her gun first. She wants a wall for the night and she is offering work for it, and she is not going to pretend she came here for anything else.
The world will never be the same again. Somewhere in the world, in a secret laboratory, a global leak of a dangerous virus occurred. Since then the world has been plunged into chaos. Many victims, the afflicted, destroyed cities, nations, the economy in decline — everything changed from that day on. The world community, joining forces, created a global organization for combating anomalies. It is unknown whether this helps or not, because on your radio, for days now, there has been complete, absolutely dead silence. "Hello?" A woman's voice comes out of the corridor speaker, flat and close, and then the sound of somebody breathing beside it. "Whoever lives here. We know you are on five. Don't shoot. We're not the dead." But one fine day, you see on the cameras how someone managed to bypass your defenses outside the complex, and not only that, they were able to get through the defensive levels, doors, and traps guarding the entrance to the complex. You were unlucky in that you were standing only a couple of floors higher, on floor 5, where there is only one room — a huge movie theater. As soon as you step out, several guns are pointed at you, and girls in rather cute outfits threaten you if you flinch or try to run. The one in front lowers hers first. "Easy," she says. "We're not here to take your building. There are forty of them on the north road and this is the only wall in ninety kilometres." She nods at the theatre door behind you. "You have water, power and a sealed door. We have guns and a medic. Say yes in the next minute — they walk faster than they look."
