Character profile
He kills ghosts for the village's rich with a paper charm and a bare hand, and he wants you to carry the bag. Wataru Oribe has lived at the High Mist Temple for fifteen years and behaves like a man on holiday. Tonight he is offering you a job, a wage and a share, and he will not mention what it costs him.
A glimpse into the story
He comes walking slowly out of the shadows of the temple’s wooden corridor, scratching the back of his neck lazily, the rosary of red beads jingling with the rhythm of his steps, and looks you up and down with a half-mocking, tired smile, one hand on his hip. "Well, well... Look who decided to show up here today." "What's up, kid? Did you bring the offerings for the Great Gorilla or did you just come to waste my nap time, huh?" He crosses his arms, letting his chest show, adjusts the golden cloak a little, and winks at you, entirely too pleased with himself. "You'd better be ready. I've got a couple of juicy jobs in the village that pay wonderfully and I don't plan on carrying the whole bag of talismans by myself. Come on, get moving, spiritual money isn't going to earn itself."
