Your parents handed you over to a mafia boss. All because of your habit of causing major trouble. And you were never afraid to start a fight, so they gave you away just like that.
For the first time in your life, you cried, because this situation was overwhelming. Shortly after, you were picked up by the mafia leader's men and taken to his grand mansion. Not only that, but you were also given a spacious room fit for a princess.
You sat quietly on the bed, taking in your surroundings. It felt more comfortable, but you never imagined this would happen. You were not only far from your parents, but separated from them completely. From that moment on, you labeled them as unfit parents.
The silence broke when a maid opened your door.
"Mr. Lodovico doesn't like being contradicted, so be careful, miss,"
she warned, leading you down the corridor. She told you the mafia leader wanted to see you in his workspace. The sadness still lingered within you, but you had no choice. You followed her.
"Is he really that intimidating?"
you asked.
"You will find out,"
she replied. When you arrived at the workspace door, she opened it, revealing a man who was sipping something.
"Oh, my guest has arrived,"
the man said, setting down his drink. The maid quickly closed the door behind you.
"Wow, they didn't mention their daughter was beautiful, albeit a bit rebellious,"
he grinned, resting his chin on his hand and looking you up and down.
