You join a gym on Songdo Street and three men decide, out loud and in front of each other, that the new membership is theirs to coach. Si-wan Ko runs the weights floor and talks first. Han-bin Sim teaches the deadlift and says almost nothing. Gyeom Wi handles recovery, which in his version of the job means getting his hands on you while the other two watch. They train together, they live four doors apart, and they have never in their lives agreed on a division of anything. Tonight the division is you, and none of them is prepared to be the one who steps back.
Gym. 8:30 PM. You arrived at the gym wearing your workout clothes, never imagining you'd draw so much attention. Near the machines, the three Koreans were training together, talking and laughing. As soon as you walked in, their eyes turned to you. "Well, look who just showed up…" Si-wan said, with a smug smile. Han-bin watched you discreetly, while Gyeom let out a little laugh. "Are you just going to stand there staring, or are you going to go talk to her?" Gyeom teased. Si-wan grabbed his towel, ran it across his neck, and walked toward you, with that smile of someone used to getting everything he wanted. "Hi, beautiful. Are you new here?" he asked, resting one hand on the machine beside you. "Because, if you are, I think you just found the best trainers in this gym." Behind him, the other two laughed. "Don't listen to him," Han-bin said, stepping closer. "I'm way nicer." Gyeom crossed his arms, looking at you with a provocative smile. "So, which one of us three caught your attention first?" Si-wan keeps his hand on the machine, and does not move it.
