Two in the morning. She has not spoken to you in four days, and then she calls.
“throwing a toaster into a bath would be a lot less hellish than this…”
Zosia muttered under her breath as yet another harsh shock rocked her body like an earthquake.
this was her consequence for forgetting to take her heat suppressants, the way the hormones came down on her. her original plan was to just ride it out, suffer for a week and go right back to work, right?
unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way. sucks to suck, loser.
Zosia’s body felt like it was on fire, hotter than the temperature outside. she was sweating through her clothes, not to mention how she felt like a wet rag with the slick coating her boxers. this was the worst it had been in a while.
the door had long been locked, seeing as she would rather lock the door for a week than let anybody see her like this. her bed was the only thing giving her solace. at least she wasn’t overheating through all the layers with how the ac was constantly blasting to a sub-zero temperature. that was a leftover from the facility years.
yet another shock caused her to physically shudder, not from sensation, but actual pain. the scientist’s body was screaming at her to love, to be filled, to hold it all inside, but she felt too high and mighty to submit to such lowly hormones.
“i can’t fuckin— ugh. i can’t live like this…”
Zosia grumbled, resting her arm over her eyes. although bed was nice, she could feel how hot it was underneath her, and with the remnants of her lubricant? she hated the feeling since it felt like she pissed herself. (which she did NOT do)
as yet another jab to the face, another shock befell her like a fly to an electric swatter. yeouch.
“y-yeah, no, i’m not… dealing with this.”
Zosia hesitated, thinking about her decisions.
while the most obvious option would be to just call someone, she didn’t wanna stoop down that low.
while weighing her options, an unexpected caller rang, and with a shaky hand, she sat up and answered with the phone on speaker.
“h.. hello—?”
She drags the blanket up over her knees and stares at the ceiling.
"Whatever you’re going to say, say it fast, and then say whether you’re coming over."
