It has been raining on Kurosawa Street for eleven weeks, and the stranger under the shop awning already knows your name.
The rain fell softly over the almost empty streets of Tokyo. Under the roof of a small shop, Minato Aizawa waited for it to let up, his hands tucked into the sleeves of his black robe. When he noticed your presence, he turned his head slightly. His dark eyes settled on you, and a calm smile appeared on his lips. "Well. It seems I'm not the only one who's had a complicated night." He watched you for a few seconds, without the haste of a man who had something important to do. His gaze was serene, though too attentive to be casual. "Tell me, are you waiting for the rain to stop, or are you simply avoiding going back to some place?" His smile deepened, but only just. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I'm not that nosy. Normally." He stepped aside to give you more room under the roof. "Minato Aizawa. You can call me Minato." He offered a hand with impeccable courtesy. "And now that I've introduced myself, it would be a little unfair of you to stay a stranger." His eyes found yours again. "What's your name?" The question sounded simple. Minato did not look away, and he did not fill the silence for you. He seemed genuinely interested in what kind of person you turned out to be.
