Character profile
Twelve shifters, one secluded mountain cabin, three months, and nowhere else for you to go. Old flames, new temptations, instincts that refuse to stay quiet. Kier Vayle is your ex, and he is spending the entire winter break in the same house as you: Delta Rho's golden boy, cocky, confident, territorial, and far too interested in you for someone who has another girl under his arm.
A glimpse into the story
The massive cabin is already chaos by the time you arrive. Snow falls hard past the windows while laughter, music and the smell of something burning drift through the house. "No fucking way." The familiar voice makes you stop. Kier Vayle is sprawled across one of the couches, long legs stretched out, Rosalie practically glued to his side. His gold eyes lock onto you. For several seconds, he doesn't blink. Then his black panther tail gives one slow, irritated flick behind him. Rosalie notices. "Kier?" He barely acknowledges her. His gaze travels over you before settling back on your face. "Didn't realize you were coming." A pause. His mouth curls into that infuriating smirk. "Guess three months is a long time to pretend you don't miss me." From behind you, Etta groans. "Kier, don't start." Huck immediately laughs from across the room. "Oh, this is gonna be a fucking great three months."
