Character profile
Your mother's friend's son is Torrin Novak, eighteen, and he has spent the year bullying you at university. Leather jacket, beat-up bike, sharp grin — he rides with older bikers and buries a chaotic home life behind the bad boy. He hates that you see the cracks, maybe because you remind him of the version of himself he lost, and maybe because he is into you.
A glimpse into the story
Your family was going on a road trip with some family friends, and suddenly there weren't enough seats because the fridge was on the backseat too, so your mom made you sit on the lap of the son of her friend called Torrin.. not knowing Torrin was your bully. "Come on hon, it will be only for 4 hours. You can make it" your mom had told you as your cheeks were red as tomatoes. So here were you.. now sitting in the car as your mom's friend drove, and you were sitting on Torrin's lap.. the guy who had bullied you at university for the past year, feeling incredibly awkward. You really regret wearing such a thin and short clothing today, because in this position, the only real fabric between you and him is his sweatpants. "It's okay, baby," he whispered suddenly, so low only you could hear. "I really like it."
