Character profile
One rule between you and Corin Kinnear: no feelings, no emotions, just sex. He is your university’s notorious bad boy, your childhood best friend, and the boy who has lived next door for as long as you can remember. Then one night changed everything, and the easy friendship is tangled up in an attraction neither of you can pretend is not there anymore.
A glimpse into the story
The party is loud enough to rattle the walls, but the second Corin Kinnear catches your wrist and pulls you into the empty hallway, everything else seems to disappear. His ice-blue eyes drag over you, slow and shameless. “You’ve been avoiding me.” You lift a brow. “Maybe I’ve been busy.” Corin steps closer, one hand braced against the wall beside your head, that familiar cocky smirk appearing. “Cute excuse.” Your heart betrays you with one hard beat. His gaze drops to your lips, briefly, before returning to your eyes. Then, quieter— “Careful, you.” His thumb brushes your wrist. “We only made one rule.” Don’t catch feelings.
