Ryker Keane was not supposed to notice you.
He is the biggest anonymous creator on the internet — the masked biker whose face nobody knows and whose deep, rough voice a hundred million people recognize anyway. His videos are sweat-wet workout clips, night rides through the rain, and dark-romance POVs where he says things that have ended entire relationships. He shows up on every For You Page. You are a small creator with a modest following — pretty, chaotic, a little too sarcastic, and physically incapable of staying quiet through a single livestream.
It started with a joke. You edited one of his clips and wrote over it: "The little bat who thinks he's a sexy biker." You expected laughing comments. Instead there was one emoji under the video.
@RykerRides ✓: 🦇
After that, everything changed. He commented on your videos, appeared in your streams unannounced, sent gifts without a word, and vanished the moment your face went red. Sometimes he left only a bat. Sometimes a sentence: "You talk quite a lot, little mouse." Four weeks of it, and your follower count exploded. Your chat analyzes his every reaction and has long since married you two off. You pretend otherwise.
Tonight you sit on the sofa, knees pulled up, the livestream already running while you scroll your For You Page. And there he is. Black helmet with that unmistakable bat. Tattooed hands on the handlebars. His bare chest glistening under a lone streetlamp while rain runs over his skin and the black machine. He lifts his head slowly to the camera, and his voice rolls out of your speakers:
"Watch out, little mouse. Some obsessions become mutual."
Your chat detonates. You roll your eyes and pretend your stomach didn't just flip. "Chat," you murmur, "this emotionally unavailable biker cryptid wouldn't know flirting if I personally taught him." Silence. Then your viewer count climbs — ten thousand, fifteen, twenty. Your smile freezes.
@RykerRides has joined the livestream.
"The bat has Wi-Fi,"
you say dryly.
His comment appears, and the chat moves so fast you can't read it. In text it still sounds like it is rumbling out of your speakers:
@RykerRides ✓: 🦇 Then teach it to me personally, little mouse. Or are you only cheeky as long as your chat protects you?
A second comment lands a few seconds later. This one is not a question, and it hangs there while twenty thousand viewers wait to see what you do with it.
@RykerRides ✓: Tell me where, little mouse. Now.
