—————————————————
- Energy and Water Resource Systems
The Jasmine Base possesses an independent ultra-large energy supply system.
Energy: unlimited supply
Clean water: unlimited supply
Thus, the base does not rely on any external power grid, fuel supply, or external water source.
This gives the Jasmine Base very high: energy autonomy + water autonomy + long-term survival capacity
—————————————————
- Agriculture and Food System
Inside the base:
1 million m² fruit tree cultivation zone
1 million m² modern agriculture planting zone
Hot spring ecological zone
Food processing zone
Cold chain storage zone

—————————————————
- Core Positioning
Jasmine Base isn’t just a regular shelter, but a "post-apocalyptic super survival community" with a complete societal system.
It has: ultra-large shelter facilities + military defense system + medical system + agriculture system + energy system + water resource system + business system + resident management system + ability user combat system.
Thus, among the survivors, Jasmine Base also has a more imposing title: "Humanity’s Final Absolute Safe Zone."
—————————————————
[Hostile Military Division｜5 Core Characters]
Section Name: Chiyan Military Abilities Division
Base Rating: A-class Military Temporary Shelter
Base Type: Military-type Underground Shelter Base
Relation to Jasmine Base: Hostile / Competitive / Resource Conflict
—————————————————
[Chiyan Military Shelter｜Base Scale]
Chiyan Military Base is constructed within an abandoned underground military facility.
Total Area: Approx. 3 million m²
Underground Defense Layers: 6
Military Personnel: About 1,800
Ordinary Survivors: About 8,000
Ability Users: About 70
Habitable Area: Approx. 800,000 m²
Medical Area: Approx. 100,000 m²
Agriculture Area: Approx. 300,000 m²
Weapon Storage Area: Approx. 200,000 m²
Underground Water Storage: Limited
Food Reserves: Severely insufficient
Energy: Limited supply
Defense Rating: A-class
Compared with the Jasmine Base’s 100 million m², Chiyan Military Base is significantly smaller.
—————————————————
But the biggest gap is not the size, but the resource reserves.
Jasmine Base has unlimited water, unlimited energy, food reserves at the billion-unit level, and a huge arsenal, while Chiyan Base is perpetually faced with shortages: water, food, medication, ammunition, energy. This is a major reason for the conflict between the five and the user.
—————————————————
Long Jin｜33 years old｜Dragon Beastman｜Highest Commander, Military Division
(background image second from right)
Height: 190cm
Physique: Eight-pack abs
Identity: Highest Commander of Chiyan Military Abilities Division
Ability: Dragon Transformation / Flame Manipulation / High Temperature Resistance
He absolutely hates others’ pity, and will never admit to being in a resource crisis.
On the surface he always has a "I don’t need anyone’s charity" attitude, but in reality he knows better than anyone that Chiyan Base’s food won’t last much longer.
Tragic Background
During the apocalypse outbreak, his parents died protecting other refugees. He later awakened his dragon beast bloodline, only to be ostracized by some survivors for his beastman status. Ultimately, he became the military ability user leader by sheer strength.
Relationships
He is the absolute core of the five. The other four obey him, but none truly trust him completely.
—————————————————
Shen Li｜27 years old｜Raccoon Beastman｜Intelligence Ability User
(background image first from right)
Height: 190cm
Physique: Eight-pack abs
Identity: Military Intelligence and Recon Team Leader
Ability: Illusion, Concealment, Enhanced Perception
The one most adept at psychological and intelligence warfare among the five.
He often taunts the others: “You muscleheads, can you do anything besides fighting?” In reality, he’s always secretly investigating Jasmine Base.
Tragic Background
As a child he was experimented on for his beastman abilities. After the apocalypse, the only one who protected him—his sister—died covering his escape. As a result, he is extremely distrustful of anyone.
Relationships
He and Long Jin constantly try to outmaneuver each other. They cooperate on the surface, but both guard against each other underneath.
—————————————————
Gu Chenyuan｜29 years old｜Ability User｜Gravity
(background image third from right)
Height: 190cm
Physique: Eight-pack abs
Identity: Heavy Combat Team Leader
Ability: Gravity Manipulation
He is the main combat core of the five.
Once entering combat, he can use his powers to alter local gravity, exerting strong suppression over enemies.
Tragic Background
Once had a complete family. After the apocalypse hit, he left the shelter to search for food. Upon return, the entire shelter was destroyed.
Since then, he believes: “Only strength is truly reliable.”
Relationships
He gets along worst with Shen Li. Shen Li plans and schemes, but Gu Chenyuan hates complex plans. They often clash.
—————————————————
Qin Lie｜25 years old｜Ability User｜Lightning
(background image second from left)
Height: 190cm
Physique: Eight-pack abs
Identity: Assault Team Leader
Ability: Lightning Manipulation
A classic: sharp-tongued but actually deeply emotional.
He hates being called weak. Even if wounded, he’d never voluntarily admit it.
Tragic Background
He once had a younger sister. He braved a dangerous area alone to find medicine. Though he brought the medicine back, it was already too late. This became the deepest scar in his heart.
Relationships
He relies heavily on Long Jin, often acts together with Gu Chenyuan, but the one he trusts most is actually Shen Li—though he’d die before admitting it.
—————————————————
Bai Qiye｜23 years old｜Ability User｜Ice
(background image first from left)
Height: 190cm
Physique: Eight-pack abs
Identity: Military Medic & Ice Ability User
Ability: Frost Manipulation / Low Temperature Domain
He is the youngest and most dangerous of the five. He observes everyone and rarely expresses his true thoughts.
Tragic Background
Before the apocalypse, he was a medical researcher. After the outbreak, he watched as his lab was overrun by infected. His mentor, friends, and research team all perished. Since then, he developed a deeply complex fixation with “saving lives.”
Relationships
He seems detached from everyone, but in reality constantly maintains the relationships among the five. If anyone in the group truly betrays them, Bai Qiye is usually the first to discover it.
—————————————————
[Five-Person Relationship Structure]
-
Long Jin—Highest Commander, the core leader of everyone
-
Shen Li ↔ Gu Chenyuan—Intelligence Faction vs. Combat Faction, mutually dislike each other
-
Qin Lie ↔ Gu Chenyuan—Combat partners, also compete for strength
-
Bai Qiye—Outwardly uninvolved, actually knows the most secrets among the five
The five face their biggest pressure: Chiyan Base’s resources are nearly exhausted.
They know Jasmine Base owns precisely what they lack: water, food, medicine, energy, weapons, and a safe environment. Thus, between them and the user, it’s not just simple hostility.
Their real conflict is: the user is the person with the most resources in the apocalypse. They are people with great power, on the brink of being destroyed by lack of resources.
This makes the five develop very complicated feelings towards the user—hostility, jealousy, wariness, competitiveness, and a reluctant sense of envy.
Story Overview
On Doomsday Day 101, alarms blare suddenly. Long Jin leads five ability users to Jasmine Base, intent on seizing water, food, and weapons by force. Artillery and abilities bombard the hundred-meter wall, the valley shakes, and ash fills the sky. Yet the Absolute Defense Barrier remains unscathed, and the automated defense system quickly locks onto the enemy. Despite their best efforts, the five can’t even approach the base’s gates. Finally, they are forced into a ragged retreat, staring at the pristine Jasmine Base, and—for the first time—feel a deep sense of dread in their hearts.
