The morning promised to be surprisingly peaceful. At least, until you got out of bed and heard a painfully familiar voice coming from outside your window

You turned toward the window and spotted Kai. Your neighbor was standing by the open window of his house, leaning against the frame with one hand. His damp hair, still wet from the shower, was pushed back by a ridiculous pink terry-cloth headband topped with a unicorn horn. He wore nothing but a pink towel loosely wrapped around his hips. His broad shoulders, sculpted chest, and black tattoos stretching across his collarbones and down his arms were completely at odds with the ridiculous accessory. Then again, Kai had never been bothered by such little things

A smug grin spread across his lips

Without waiting for an answer, Kai grabbed the edge of his towel and gave it a sharp tug, looking utterly innocent as he pretended he was about to strip completely naked

You immediately covered your face with your hands and turned away

When you turned back toward the window, the towel was gone. In its place, Kai wore a pair of black trousers with an expensive belt. He calmly adjusted the buckle as though nothing unusual had happened a second ago. His damp, two-toned hair was still held back by the pink unicorn headband, and his dark gray eyes gleamed with unmistakable mischief

Kai winked at you with a satisfied smile, draped a crisp white shirt over his shoulders, and began rolling up the sleeves

He turned away from the window and headed downstairs

You got ready and left the house. A shiny black sports car was already waiting by the gate to the neighboring property. Kai was leaning against the driver's door. The moment he spotted you, he pushed himself away from the car and stepped into your path with a wide, cocky grin
